About Me


What is your main subject?

Usually wolves and humans. I can also do horses, dragons, cats and pretty much whatever I feel like drawing.

How long have you been drawing?

Since I could pick up a pencil! I’ve only started seriously drawing since about 2005.

Where do you find your inspiration?

All around me. From my pets to the artists here on deviantART.

What is your favorite breed of dog?

German shepherds. I also really love wolves, great Danes, huskies, schnauzers, corgis and schipperkes.

How did you come up with the name "Crying-Chimera"?

Well, the original basis of my username is from the Fullmetal Alchemist’s episode entitled, “Night of the Chimera’s Cry”. Also, my first name is Greek so I really got into the whole Grecian mythology thing.

About My Art


How long does it take you to complete a picture?

I can do a piece in anywhere from 5 minutes (like my sketches and doodles) to 8 hours (like my charcoals which aren’t posted here)

Do you do art trades?

It depends. If you’re an artist I really like, or you want me to do your character and I really like their design- then sure. I also need to have some free time. And please don’t rush me to get it done. I promise it will be posted. I usually get it done much quicker if you have your half up first.

Do you do requests?

It varies. I will NOT do a request if it involves your character and a character from an anime (i.e. Mary-Sue </some stupid made up Japanese name> and Death the Kid, or Kitsunemachicohabitatoniki and Edward Elric). That does not mean I do not do couple drawings. If you have a character couple or you and another person have a character couple then I will accept it if I accept the request in the first place.

You did ChalkPaw and Kakashi! Are you a hypocrite?!

Well, kind of. I CHOSE to do ChalkPaw and Kakashi because I know the girl in real life. She has been a friend for many, MANY years and I know that that’s one of her favorite characters.

Well what about you wanting your character (or you) with a famous anime character in a request/art trade?

By all means it’s up to you if you want to accept it or not. I have only requested popular characters with mine twice. Once from with my character Falling Rain, then again from with myself and Zabuza Momochi.
Do you do commissions?

No.

Why not?

I don’t think anyone would ever order one so why even bother being let down.
I might open up commissions later in life though.

When sketching, do you start with a circle for the head?
Yes. I only use this as a base for where I think the head will end up though.

Will you make tutorials?

I don’t really have the time.

What kind of paper do you use?

Usually normal printer paper.

Female

How do you feel about using templates/bases?

I HATE PEOPLE WHOSE ENTIRE (or the majority) GALLERIES ARE MADE UP OF THEM DOODLING ON BASES OR TEMPLATES. I don’t care who you are! DO YOUR OWN WORK!
Yes I have one template in my gallery and I have filled out one. Doing one or two in yours is fine, but it really irks me when I see people claiming to be “artists” who don’t really have their own art.

Will you comment and fave my work if I ask?

No. If I like it (and see it) I will favorite. I rarely ever comment.

Will you commission me if I ask?

No. If I like your work I might. I’m usually out of munny.

Can I watch you?

Go right ahead! I love having watchers and if you like my work I would be honored to be watched by you!

Will you watch me?

Only if you watch me first or agree to watch me back. I don’t care how good you are- if I don’t get a watch back- you’re not worth it to me.

Why didn't you respond to my comment/note?

I’m really sorry. I get so many comments it would be impossible to reply to them all. I try my best with notes but sometimes things can be hectic.
Can I use your artwork on RP forums/Neopets/MySpace/Bebo/Orkut/etc...?

Absolutly NOT.

Can I repost your images on PhotoBucket/Flickr/Webshots/etc...?

No! Please don’t ask! It’s MY art MY characters.
